Zentangle Workshop for Mums & Dads

Last 19th May, there was a very special Zentangle Workshop for mums & dads in our school. 

A group of parents came to enjoy Zentangle in the Art class. It was a great afternoon full of Mindful and Relax.

The Book Day 2017

24th April 2017 

We celebrated Book Day at school. 

The Foggy, Foggy Forest is at the stairs for us to remember.

During "Mile" (daily forest mile walk or run) the students, in pairs, were choosing a book from the three languages (Spanish, Galician and English) that we learn.

In this occasion, we walked the forest in order to find a nice place to sit down and relax,  reading a book next to a school partner.

Different ages were mixed up to have a while of friendly reading.

Some of the free choosing were English books.

THE VERY HUNGRY CATERPILLAR is one of the most famous. 

BROWN BEAR, BROWN BEAR, what do you see?. 

Some new books from  the English class: 

THE FOGGY, FOGGY FOREST, perfect topic for an awesome school forest.

That was another fantastic way of enjoying through reading and nature.

HEALTHY- JUNK FOOD

This year, we are working on healthy habits of life.
In the Art class we´ve been working on how relaxation is important in our lives, through ZENTANGLE and breathing.

Right now, we´re going to learn something about
HEALTHY-JUNK FOOD through drawing .

We have an introduction about the topic through a song, quiz game and then they´ll draw.

We´re going to use Youtube videos to draw, then we´re going to create very descriptive posters to hung on the walls at school.

1st Graders are going to draw  a PINEAPPLE and a funny CHEESE BURGER.

 

3rd Graders are gointg to enjoy drawing EGGS and BACON and A BANANA.

4th Graders are going to draw HOT CHOCOLATE AND STRAWBERRIES.

     

5th Graders are going to draw a funny HOT DOG, PIZZA  and APPLES.

6TH Graders are going to have fun drawing FRENCH FRIES, TURKEY  and A CORNUCOPIA

Romeo & Juliet in English

The 6th graders group went to IES As Barxas to watch the English play "Romeo & Juliet". That was a hilarious and modern play the students could enjoy.

     We really had funny!!!

We´re going to a Holiday Camp

In January, 4th, 5th and 6th graders groups went to enjoy an English play about "bullying".

The topic was very interesting and we could review vocabulary, grammar structures and speaking about it.

They learned a lot about how to do when you are being object of  a "bullying" situation.

    The play in English was funny and very easy for our students.
