Our class moments

We shared parts of the classroom, moments of the students speaking English, playing or creating, they are photos of our English N Art class, in order to make a big book with all the classrooms of the school. This is a Project of Normalización  teachers team to send to another school for them to know us.

We are very proud about what we do and the way we do it at the class. Kids have fun, learn, participate and speak English in a very relaxing atmosphere. This is why everybody is happy.;))

Emperor's new suit play

Today we went to Cangas to the auditorium in order to enjoy the waited play, "Emperor's new suit",  that we had worked during different sesions at class.

The kids enjoyed, sang and laughed with the actors and the play.

Some kids from differents schools helped the actors to hold "the magic and invisible suit".

Finally, we could see the emperor... Naked.

After the child discovering..."the emperor is naked", the emperor realized he's naked and they helped him to get dressed.

Some of our students watching the play.
This is Raúl, a fourth grader.

Below there are acouple of pictures from THE PAINT BUBLES PROJECT.

Here you have the amazing coloured bubles to colour the papers and create awesome compositions.

Kids love experiencing and trying new "crazy projects".

Dalí, the genius!!

Tick on DALÍ and you'll get a classroom video about Dalí's life and paintings with explanations in English.

DALÍ

As every year, we are going to work with a famous artist, in this case, DALI.
Here are some of the pictures we are going to study and make the versions.

First cycle, 1st and 2nd, are going to draw the version of this picture. The butterflies are surprising for kids, and teacher also.

This picture remainds us the film " The beauty and the beast" where the clock looks like alive.

Butterflies like us a lot.

This is another picture we are going to work on.  Butterflies is the main topic students like best.

This picture shows us the magic and crazy Dali world.

First graders are drawing the version of Dali's "The Butterfly Chase".

Don't you think the drawings are great?
The're finishing them and we'll set an exposition.

This is a class after the explanation,  step by step, about what they have to do. We divide the paper into two halves and situate the original picture. The students draw freely, they make their own version of the famous painting.

This is the process they follow to reach the result. These  are second graders's pictures unfinished.

This is the first part of the exposition.

Aren't they great, amazing or incredible to be done for young kids?

WONDERFUL!!!
