Halloween Storytelling by school parents

The English teacher wants to THANK YOU to the school parents who have participated in this first, but not last, storytelling.

The books read on this occasion were
WHAT’S IN THE WITCH’S KITCHEN?
By Nick Sharrat
and
TEN TIMID GHOSTS
by Jennifer O’Connell

Thank you Xiana’s mum
She was showing us magic through her magic wand, transforming nasty food into delicious candy, popcorn or macarroni.

Kindergarten 3 & 4 listening to the WHAT’S IN THE WITCH’S KITCHEN?.

THANK YOU
Vega’s mum.
She was reading, acting, giving toys, asking questions, spelling, ... and giving candy after an asked password. We had a lot of fun!

Thank you, Olivia, for reading, teaching, painting, singing and showing us awesome pictures from your New Orleans Halloween traditions.

Kindergarten 4
Talking about their costumes and counting witch’s hats.

Kindergarten 3
Talking about the costumes colours. Looking for the colours diving on the class carpet.

5th & 6th graders watching an amazing presentation about New Orleans Halloween, parades, haunted houses, and costumes...

At the English class we enjoy the magic of foreign traditions comparing them to our Galician heritage.
This is the multicultural sharing that we want to teach to our students.

HAPPY
Creepy Halloween!!!!
