Spring Art with Kindergarten 5 students

First of all, we were doing lovely colourful tulips by means of plastic forks and paint.

The kids had a great time! They had to be very carefully with the forks.

Then, they painted directly with their own fingers.
They had to colour an Easter bunny to be in the middle of the flowers.
Amazing job, girls and boys! You’re great painters!

And to complete the Easter work,
Easter eggs, of course.

HAPPY EASTER holidays, everyone!!!

3 eyes, 2 heads, rabbit ears or spider legs

In first grade,
We were learning animals and parts of the body in humans and animals.

So, Olivia was dictating how to draw weird animals “draw a turtle with rabbit ears...”.
Then, she was telling them how to create a monster “draw a monster with 2 heads...”.
At the end, they switched drawings and they corrected their partners’ pictures, putting a tick.

We’re having fun drawing funny animals while we’re learning animals vocabulary and body parts.

In kindergarten 4
We’re learning parts of the body drawing funny monsters.
Olivia rolled the dice and according to the number, the kids had to draw “2 heads, 7 legs, 5 fingers...”.

Learning parts of the body enjoying drawing on the classroom carpet.

In kindergarten 3
We’re drawing very special little monsters with “1 eye, 3 noses, 6 arms, 3 hands....
They had fun on the class carpet.
They listened, drew and counted so many arms, noses and fingers while they’re learning vocabulary.

Thank you, Olivia. They like you so much!!!

Kindergarten kids learning family vocabulary
through games.

They’re counting and saying the name of the members of the different families by turns.

First, in big group on the carpet, then in groups.

Kindergarten 4 are playing with family members games with Olivia’s help.

In Kindergarten 5 we’re speaking about family members by means of mini puzzles.

Kids were organized in groups of 4 or 5. They were given one piece of the puzzle and the first one to put the last piece, and say the name of the member of the family; mom, dad, sister, brother, baby girl/boy ... was the winner.

They switched puzzles among groups to get different ones.

Learning through games is fun!!!

Feed the Shark, memory games & fun

Kindergarten 5 are playing the game FEED THE SHARK.
Through little colour fish they practice numbers and colours.

Diego is saying the numbers or colours, Mateo, Vera or Edgar are feeding the shark.
By turns, one student is the shark and asks fish on certain colours or numbers.

MEMORY PUZZLE GAME
The students say and learn sea animals vocabulary and they put them in their place.
After the learning vocabulary game, the kids do a picture dictation, by the teacher.
" Colour the dolphin...blue".

ART in KINDERGARTEN is fun

Different topics, different projects.

SEA

This magic "OCEAN IN MY BOTTLE" was one of the favourite project for kindergarten 5, at the moment.

This one is another wonderful sea project for them.
They could do finger paint freely and then put glitter on the very cute seahorses.

We're filling our "deep sea" poster step by step.

HALLOWEEN
Halloween demands a different approach...

You can collect leaves from the forest, finger paint them, and when they're dried... Draw a SCARY FACE on your GHOST.

Scary projects need scary faces!!!!
